Hey everyone! Soo..... long story short, I got crazy busy over the past month (and I've been enjoying the summertime!) so I took a quick break. But, I have exciting news! Long Time, No Post ):

Hey everyone, guess who's back? It has been such a long time since I posted last (so sorry!), as I got into May and June, finals and scheduling for next school year were taking up most of my time. Thank you to everyone who follows, I love you all (: Now, this time I'm back and ready to get glam!

Gold: Betsey Johnson by Betsey Johnson Perfume

Romantic, rocker, tropical, flirty; every girl has her signature scent. Something she wears on a regular basis, so the scent is associated with her. To find the right scent takes time searching high, low, and in every perfumery and departments store, but the payoff is unbeatable. 
After much sniffing, I found my signature scent in a perfumery at an open air mall on vacation in Florida. With so many perfumes lining the walls, it was difficult for my nose to get a handle on what was what.... but right when I smelled "Betsey Johnson" by Betsey Johnson, I knew it would be in my suitcase on the trip home. This perfume is like nothing I have ever smelled (or seen, the packaging is insane!) before, with notes of amber, tangerine, grapefruit, black currant, freesia, musk, pear, red apple and praline all harmonizing together to create an incredible one-of-a-kind smell. 
This is the perfume that I swear by, wearing it almost every day. It is definitely a perfume that gets noticed, too. Every time I wear it, someone compliments me on how it smells! It has long staying power, too. Typically I apply it before school at 6AM, and by 3:00, I'm still getting whiffs of amber and musk, and that is after an aerobics workout, too! 
This perfume is a great scent for a woman who likes a more exotic, romantic scent. It is not heavy, per say, but it is definitely strong. This bottle is liquid gold for me, I love it!

Favorite: MAC Creme Cup Lipstick

My makeup collection keeps growing and growing, and the latest addition has to be my favorite item yet. 
On a recent trip to the mall, I stopped by the MAC counter simply to look around, get some ideas from the MAC experts there.... when low and behold, I spotted the lipstick rack. Now, whatever made me go look at lipsticks, I'll never know, because through and through, lip products and I have never been close. But, this is the lip product that could sway me to a better relationship! 
Soft, nude pink with blue undertones, MAC's cremesheen lipstick in Creme Cup is my latest obsession. I've been wearing this day in and day out since I brought it home, feeling the utmost of victory. It is the perfect shade for something neutral, that still has the right amount of color in it to not wash you out. The formula is creamy, but not too creamy so that it slides right off your lips (unlike some other drugstore lipsticks). Plus, you can make a super cute lipstick mark on a napkin at your favorite restaurant ( ;
Creme Cup by MAC is a must have for any makeup collector, or someone looking for a great everyday lipstick. I know that I'll be repurchasing this item when I (sadly) run out! <3
